Heavy Grade Hydroseal
⠀Bitumen based waterproofing sealant
Heavy Grade Hydroseal is a thick, inert fibre reinforced solvent cut bituminous mastic. It is easy to use and adheres to all dry, clean surfaces. Heavy Grade Hydroseal is alkali and acid resistant, and when dry it will not contaminate drinking water. Specially designed to be trowel applied to any surface. It forms a tough skin quickly then dries slowly beneath the surface.
Usage/Purpose
- Repairing and waterproofing the inside of iron and concrete tanks and troughs.
- Re-surfacing old Malthoid, iron and cement reinforced roofs and gutters (must be over coated when UV exposed)
- Stopping leaks in roofs and gutters; sealing leaks in tanks, troughs, flashings and cappings, under screws and washers and downpipes (must be applied to internal surfaces.)
- A sound deadening or anti drumming coating for sheet metal work.
