Tradies Choice Master Primer
Tradies Choice Master Primer is a fast drying water based acrylic primer. Used for porous and non porous substrates such as existing tiles, Vinyl and carpet and vinyl adhesive residue. Can be used over old water based paints (not to be used over oil based paints.)
SURFACE PREPERATION
The surface must be clean, dry firm and free of dust oil, grease, wax and curing compounds. The substrate must be installed according to the relevant standards and manufacturer recommendations. All porous surfaces must be primed with SAS Master Primer. For non porous surfaces such as existing tiles, adhesives must be primed using SAS Master Primer neat. APPLICATIONS
Porous:
Priming of porous substrates such as concrete f/c sheet dilute Master primer 3 parts water to 1 part Master Primer. Apply primer by roller or brush making sure the entire area is primed. Allow to cure for 25 minutes before tiling or waterproofing.
Non Porous
Priming of non porous substrates such as existing tiles clean the tiles with sugar soap and then clean before applying the Master Primer neat. Once the Master Primer is cured which is approximately 2 hours @ 23 0 C you can apply a levelling compound or Tile adhesive.
