An acrylic construction gap filler, perfect for skirting, cornice, around windows and more.
PROBOND SEAL-A-GAP⠀is a flexible one-part water-based acrylic gap sealant. It can be used both as a sealant or adhesive and has excellent adhesion to Plasterboard, cardboard, wood, concrete sheets etc. ideal for finishing around fitouts, cornice, skirting boards and more.

Applications

It is ideal for sealing interior wall joints and any joint not exposed to weather or pooling of water. It is also suitable for perimeter caulking of windows and doors, and for concrete, and masonry block work. It can also be used as an adhesive for cornices, interior tiles etc.

Substrates

PROBOND SEAL-A-GAP will have excellent adhesion to many substrates. Admil Adhesives always recommends to conduct “Pre-Adhesion” Tests on substrates to ensure adequate bond is achieved.

Surface Preparation

All surfaces must be clean, dry, sound, and free from dust, oil, rust, or any other contamination.
Metals should be cleaned with a non-oily solvent soaked clean cloth, such as⠀PROSIL CLEANER 1. Excess solvent should be wiped from the surface with a clean dry cloth. When used on remedial work all existing sealant must be removed. In some instances further cleaning or etching maybe required.
